Krista lived in Florida and Tennessee before coming home to Texas! She’s owned businesses in the fitness industry and appreciates how much it takes to commit to the high standards of excellence that NexGen is built on. Since moving to Texas she’s been involved in other gyms. For almost a year now had her eye on joining NexGen because of the commitment to personal attention and the private training suites. Krista has an upbeat training style and a passion to get to know her clients. She is a Certified Personal Trainer through ACE. Outside of the gym, Krista enjoys spending time with her husband Duncan and their son Pierson.


Angela Morris | ISSA-CPT

Certified Personal Trainer

Angela is originally from Oklahoma but grew up here in the Dallas area, she developed a passion for fitness and training while seeing the difference it made in her own life. She started working in the fitness industry as a personal trainer. She has then gone on to be manager of a few different small businesses and gyms before coming to NexGen. She came to NexGen because she wanted to get back to working one-on-one with clients, without the distractions and noise of a big gym. She’s certified as a personal trainer through ISSA and her passion is to help people feel good and live healthier lifestyles. In her time outside the studio she loves teaching an occasional Zumba class and enjoys time being outside, whether it’s riding a bike or getting out to the lakes around the area.


Matt Tucker | B.S. TCU

Certified Personal Trainer

Matt’s love for health and fitness began at an early age. As college athlete, playing running back for TCU he found both joy and confidence in weight training, eventually leading him into personal training. After college he went on to play with the Philadelphia Eagles and NY Jets. Afterwards he returned home to Texas to pursue a career in the health and fitness industry. Matt has an upbeat training style and has a passion to pour into his clients – he wants them to not only see results in the mirror, but more importantly to feel strong and empowered in their everyday life.


Keevan Lucas | B.S Tulsa

Certified Personal Trainer

Keevan loves being around the fitness and nutrition industry. He grew up as a standout athlete, graduating from Abilene High School he went on to a standout career at Tulsa University. Playing Wide Receiver, he went on to set some school records with 32 touchdowns and be recognized in the schools hall of fame. He went on to be an undrafted free agent for the Philadelphia Eagles before moving back to the Dallas area. He decided to come to NexGen because of the one-on-one, personal approach. He loves working with everyone from athletes looking to build strength, or men and women looking to live healthy lives, and he strives to make a difference in the lives of each client through encouraging healthy habits and motivating people to get started on their journey towards their goals.


Anfernee Cooper | B.S. Minnesota

Certified Personal Trainer

Anfernee loves that he is able to help people lead healthy lives and meet their goals through personal training. He went to college in Minnesota where he was a consistent member of the Dean’s List, with a concentration in Exercise Physiology and Exercise Science. He also played football and went on to be a part of their strength and conditioning programs working with a variety of men’s and women’s teams including baseball, football and other sports. He chose NexGen for the 1-1 training environment. He strives to make a difference in the lives of others through encouraging healthy habits and motivating people to continue on their journey towards their goals.


Pierre Jacobs | B.S. Quincy University

Certified Personal Trainer

Pierre’s love for health and fitness began at an early age. As a college athlete, playing soccer for Quincy University he found both joy and confidence in weight training, eventually leading him into personal training. In college he studied Exercise Science and Human Performance and Sports Management. Afterwards he came to Texas to pursue a career in the health and fitness industry. Pierre is a very relatable training style and has a passion to pour into his clients – he wants them to not only see results in the mirror, but more importantly to feel strong and empowered in their everyday life.
